The Authority currently has the following job openings:


 North Penn Water Authority located in Lansdale, PA just off the Lansdale exit of Rt. 476 is looking for individual(s) to work for us during the summer.

This position will be working primarily outdoors and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Operate a ride-on lawn mower to cut grass
  • Paint fire hydrants
  • Clean and maintain company tools and equipment
  • Assist Utility Staff with water system maintenance and repair
  • Carry tools and equipment from company vehicles to work sites
  • Assist with digging so as to expose water pipes
  • Occasional need to descend into 3 to5 foot deep excavation
  • The qualified candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 and have valid driver’s license
  • Able to lift and a carry/push/pull a minimum of 30 pounds
  • Good physical mobility
  • Good balance
  • Good hand to eye coordination and dexterity
  • Be able to provide his/her own work boot, work pants

Hours: Temporary Full-Time - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday


The North Penn Water Authority in Lansdale, Pa is seeking a part-time Adminisration and Public Relations Assistant.  The ideal candidate is someone who has administrative skills and a basic knowledge of administrative procedures and public relations, and is willing to learn about social media and public relations as it pertains to a municipal water authority. Water is a vital resource and the person who fills this position will learn about the water industry and the role NPWA plays in the community and assist the APR Department with administrative and public relations responsibiltiies.   

This position will report to the Administration and Public Relations (APR) Manager. 

Essential Duties:     

  • Work with Adminisrtrative Assistants and Community Relations Coordinator on various administrative and public relations functions.
  • Assist with PR related duties such as drafting and editing social media posts, press releases and website updates; assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist with educational presentation preparation and research.
  • Monitor media for NPWA and water related news and events.
  • Clean out 5- and 10-gallon Igloo containers for various events.   


  • Administrative skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A basic understanding of public relations, its purposes and tools.
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Solid writing and grammar skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • PowerPoint presentation experience a plus
  • Social Media experience for a company a plus


Hours: Part time - 15 hours/week, 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
